TMS – Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Franklin Family Services provides Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to our Carlisle office. TMS is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. During a TMS session, an electromagnetic coil is placed against your scalp near your forehead. The electromagnet painlessly delivers a magnetic pulse that stimulates nerve cells in the region of your brain involved in mood control and depression. If you would like more information regarding improving symptoms of depression and TMS at Franklin Family Services or to set up an appointment, please contact our Carlisle office at (717) 243-6500.
